Polytechnic design is presented and compared through exhibitions and participation in the most important local and international sector events, with a particular focus on the Milan-based Salone del Mobile. Beyond the campus boundaries, the results of students' design workshops, research, and the project culture developed by the entire community are showcased.

Not only Salone del Mobile. Students, researchers, and faculty from the Department, School, and Consortium work and learn in the spaces of the Bovisa campus, but also in a widespread dimension across spaces of local and international cultural and production promotion. Museums, showrooms, theaters, and informal spaces become opportunities to communicate the polytechnic culture of project.

Teaching and research are characterized by a strong "on-the-field" vocation and find a privileged partner in the university's social responsibility program "Polisocial."
